Hundreds of new Audi A4, A6, A8s, and others await at the factory in Ingolstadt, Germany to be shipped to various parts of the world. They’re not painted white, rather wrapped in white cellophane to protect the cars from the elements. Scroll around to see just how massive the Audi plant is.

Little Joe Tower, in Corning, NY facilitated the production of thermometer tubing by using a “vertical draw” process. Hot glass was pulled by cable 196 feet to the top, creating a continuous tube. It was then cooled and cut to length.

This is the Ford truck factory in St. Paul, MN. All these trucks are brand new Ford Rangers waiting to be delivered to dealerships. The factory is slated for closure in 2008.
