The Airbus A380 is a double-deck, four-engined airliner manufactured by EADS (Airbus S.A.S.) It first flew on April 27, 2005 from Toulouse, France. Commercial flights are scheduled to begin in 2007 after some lengthy delays.
The A380’s upper deck extends along the entire length of the fuselage. This allows for a spacious cabin with 50% more floor space than the next largest airliner, the Boeing 747-400, and provides seating for 555 people in standard three-class economy class configuration, or up to 853 people in full economy class configuration. Some folks call to the heavens for spiritual reasons. Some folks want to contact aliens.
And then there are folks who just want to talk to people flying into LaGuardia
airport.
(If you’re interested in calling, the number looks like (718) 707-3362. Let us know who you talk to.)

LZ 129 Hindenburg was a German zeppelin. Together with its sister-ship it was the largest aircraft ever built. In its second year of service it was destroyed by a fire while landing at Lakehurst Naval Air Station in Manchester, New Jersey, USA, on May 6, 1937. This marker marks the exact spot that the Hindenburg crashed. [ wikipedia link ]
